Our most popular colors for decorative concrete are Mohave sand, burnt cinnamon, cocoa brown, and charcoal. We love decorative resurface in gray and add touches and highlights bases on the layout. We increase or decrease depending on the concentration of the colors creating a dispersion, modeling, marbling effect. These are water based acrylic colors which soak deep into the new finish. We then cut a custom  pattern, add shark bite grip, and then roll or spray a non-yellowing thermoplastic silicon acrylic sealer which has a low luster (matte) finish. This is a penetrating sealer and does not just stay on the top. The project takes on a more beautiful and satisfying look when the homeowners express their preference in the size of the stones and whether the color should be lighter and more neutral or darker and more dramatic.

Custom Floor Coatings uses a 8000 psi hydraulic polymerized cement which is not the standard polymer but a vinyl acetate polymer which increases strength. We also pre-spray the concrete before overlaying the material which strengthens the homeowners substrate. In layman’s terms — we want it to look great and perform flawlessly.
